So from now on can wear a messy bun on your lazy days and appear rocking a stylish look without spending too much time in front of the mirror. To find out more about the trend check out our list of the best DIY half-up bun hairstyles to wear now.
Half-Up Bun for Middle Length Hair
To create this look you need to ensure you’re working on second day hair. Additionally you can add dry shampoo to achieve the desired texture. Once you finish working on the texture grab a thick section from the top of your head (as if you would do if you wanted to make a ponytail) pull it through an elastic band and tuck in to make a bun.
Half-Up for Layered Hair
This is another super cute look that does not require too much work to be done. So start by prepping your hair with dry shampoo and follow grabbing a small section from the top of your head. Once you’ve done that make a high pony and then twist the ends of it. Then wrap the tail around and clip on using a few bobby pins to secure the look. Finish off with a small amount of dry shampoo and that’s all!
For Long Locks
Note that too much hair can ruin the look making your bun look saggy. That is why if you have really long hair you might consider using a thick elastic band. Also it would be a good idea to make a ”cinnamon roll” wrap instead of a classic bun.
The Loop for Short Hair
To get this look grab a small section of hair from the front part of your hair and make a loop bun with it. Once you’ve done that pull the hair to add some volume and finish off with a shine spray in order to achieve better effects.
Cute Half-Up Style for Long Thick Hair
The messier you make it look the better the results will be! To get this look, first of all you need to work on your hair to achieve a messy style. On the next step grab the top section of your hair and make a high ponytail with it. Then wrap around the ends to form a bun and tuck in.
The Side Bun
Another effortless style that’s totally worth giving a try! Start by creating a deep side part. On the next step grab a few strands from the side where you deep side part is and make a loop bun with it. Leave shorter strands out and create a super cute side bun inspired from the runway shows.
